Concept

FlowMetrics

A SaaS analytics dashboard: KPI cards, funnel visualization, CSV import, role-based views and scheduled reports.

Fictional concept — planned demonstration. FlowMetrics is a portfolio concept for a SaaS analytics dashboard: KPI views, funnel visualization, CSV import and role-based access. It is not a completed client engagement and uses only synthetic data.

The challenge

Operations teams need numbers they can trust: the same KPI on every screen, computed the same way, visible to the right roles. The concept is a dashboard where data is imported, validated and stored, and where every view — KPI, funnel, report — is derived from the same verified source.

What I plan to build

  • KPI cards and funnel visualization computed from a single verified dataset
  • CSV import with row-level validation and a clear error report
  • Role-based views — executive summary and team-level detail
  • Scheduled reports with consistent, documented definitions
  • Time-series queries designed with indexes for fast, predictable loads
  • Automated tests for import validation and metric calculations

The hard part of analytics is not the charts — it is the definitions. Each metric gets one documented formula and one code path, so an executive KPI and a team detail row always agree. Import validation is strict: a bad row is reported, never silently dropped.

Status

Concept stage. The metric definitions, data model and role structure are defined; the build is planned. All data in the demonstration will be synthetic.

Next steps: Implement the import pipeline and the metric layer with tests, then the dashboard views and the scheduled reports.
