Concept

Veltora Automotive

A premium automotive showroom and configurator: vehicle options, live pricing, a financing calculator and test-drive booking.

Fictional concept — planned demonstration. Veltora Automotive is a portfolio concept I am building to demonstrate configuration and e-commerce logic for a premium automotive showroom. It is not a completed client engagement and contains no real customer or vehicle data.

The challenge

Car buyers research online before they ever visit a showroom: they compare trims, options and monthly payments. A showroom site that only lists prices loses that moment. The concept is a site where a buyer can configure a vehicle, watch the price move, estimate a financing plan and book a test drive — all before the first conversation.

What I plan to build

  • Vehicle catalog with configurable trims, colors and equipment packages
  • Live price configurator with a persisted, shareable configuration
  • Financing calculator with installment estimation and clearly stated assumptions
  • Test-drive booking with time-slot availability handling
  • Administration area for managing vehicles, prices and bookings
  • Automated tests for pricing logic and booking rules

The core engineering is the pricing model: options, packages and the interactions between them must produce one correct price, computed server-side and never trusted from the browser. The booking flow is a small state machine — requested, confirmed, completed — with validation at every transition.

Status

Concept stage. The data model, page structure and pricing rules are defined; the build is planned as a demonstration project. Until it is implemented and tested, this page describes intent, not a delivered product.

Next steps: Implement the catalog and pricing backend, then the configurator UI, the booking flow and the tests — and update this page with the working result.
